2022 Newsletter
April 25, 2022
Dear Members,
It seems like forever ago since we have had a normal meeting due to all the Covid restrictions. This year's meeting will be held Monday, April 25th at the Alba Golden ISD Cafetorium. The meal will be served at 6 pm and our annual business meeting will follow at 7 pm. We ask that you call the office to RSVP by April 18th so we may give Big Smith's BBQ a good head count. With the increase in prices, this is extremely important! We're also excited to announce there will be door prizes!
The candidates for director positions are unopposed this year. With the passing of a resolution stating that no election is needed the directores will be Terry Dickerson, Michael Humphreys, and Ricky Haisten. I would like to that these members for volunteering their time and expertise. The board is vitally important to this company.
We are seeing a major influx of growth in the area, both from developers as well as single family home builders. This rate of growth is the cause of us having to upgrade the lines in those areas as they come.
We currently are running into some issues with bills being delivered much later than normal. We have not changed anything in our processing procedures. Everything mailed out these days is taking much longer to be dilivered through the USPS. If you have not received you bill by the 10th of the month, please call the office so our staff can assist you. We offer a log-in online option to access your bill or you may sign-up for paperless billing and have it sent directly to your inbox. Also, know if there is concern of you payment not being received on time, we offer multiple payment options to assist with avoiding that $10 late fee.
A new law was passed diring the last legislative session which makes all account information confidential. We are no longer able to share what some would consider basic information. If you would like your information to be made public or shared with certain individuals, we have a form at our office or you may acccess it on our website under the forms tab. If you have any questions on why you may want this, please call the office for assistance.
In closing, as lot of you may already know, we suffered a great loss this past year, we lost our General Manager Wendell Baker. Wendell accomplished many wonderful things during his career here and left the company in great shape as we move forward.
If you have a question or concern, please call, or come by the office. We are happy to be able to assist you and answer any questions.
Thank You
Scott Reynolds
